Stair Case Wasted Space

If you have a stair way with a landing, you most likely have that area under the stairs that seems to be totally wasted.  You may store tubs of seasonal decorations there and add a tacky little curtain on it to hide the mess.  Perhaps you put the kids toy boxes there.  After all it is a short space and kinda perfect for the little guys in your house.  My favorite is to transform the space into a club house of sorts.  A nice place to hide away and read or have a secret meeting with other club members. 

But some people are much more inventive than I am.  Take a look at some of these fun ideas.

I best some vino drinkers will go for this one.  Nice and safe storage.

 

As much as I like this one, I would not want to be the one who would be cleaning this tank.

                                         

 

I realize that the next two are not really for under the stair space, but they are both great ideas and worthy of mention.
